Long time no see everyone… I wasn’t very active the last couple of weeks but now I’m back! And I’m pretty sure the best way to kick it off is with a quick but very exciting haul. I’m beyond happy that thanks to my friend’s husband I was finally able to get my hands on a few things from the US. So if you’re curious to see what I’ve got keep on reading.
Let’s start with the products I got from Ulta. It’s no American haul without a Lorac palette, am I right? I wanted to pick up the Pro palette at first but after reading a few negative reviews on the matte shades I went with the Lorac PRO Metal palette in the end. It contains only highly pigmented shimmer/metalic shades that can be used wet and dry. And let me say they are sooo gorgeous!
Another brand I couldn’t wait to try is Tarte and their blushes especially. After a hard look on the swatches online I decided to try Tipsy, the most beautiful bright coral. Plus there was this How Sweet It Is lip & cheek duo, a complete bargain I just had to have. Both lip tint and blush are the same pink shade with golden shimmer running through it that looks just stunning in the sunlight.
Next up was Sephora and the most exciting purchase of all – the Viseart Neutral Matte eyeshadow palete. I’ve been dying to get my hands on it since Karima stared using it in her videos and truthfully, I would seriously go and buy every single product the girl swears by. Sure it’s pricey as hell but just look at it! Not only it’s all matte and contains the greatest range of shades, the formula is out of this world. I had to swatch it as soon as I opened it for the first time and it really is perfection.
To continue with the eye makeup trend I picked up also one of the Josie Maran Coconut Watercolor Eyeshadow in the shade ‘Rio de Rose Gold’ and the famous Kat von D Tattoo Liner in ‘Mad Max Brown’. It’s my first brush tip eyeliner and I have to say I’m completely blown away by the the precise application.
And because a girl can never have enough eyeshadows I ordered five more Colour Pop shadows in the shades: Plunge, Shark Attack, La la, Amaze and Cricket. I have five more for a couple of months now and a few of them really became staples in my collection. The texture is so unique, looks powdery but it’s almost sponge like and the best way to apply it is with your fingers. Therefore it’s extremely convenient to use as a long lasting all over lid shade for a quick but impressive eye look.
And that’s it. My most exciting haul ever. I can’t wait to give everything a proper go! Have you tried anything from the bunch? If there’s a product you would like to see an in depth review of just let me know in the comments.
