Stila convertible color in Gerbera

Posted on .

Even though summer is long gone now and most of the girls like wearing cream blushes especially in spring and summer, I’m falling in love with them just now. It all started only after I mastered their stickiness with the RT Stippling brush. That’s why I finally ordered Stila Convertible Color in the shade ‘Gerbera’ from feelunique.com and here are my thoughts.

Gerbera is a gorgeous light peachy pink which looks more peachy in the pan but more pinky on the cheeks (as you can see on the photos below). It has no shimmer in it. Despite being slightly tacky, consistency is very smooth. It’s the easiest thing in the world to apply it evenly with the stippling brush. It leaves your cheeks looking naturally flushed, radiant and dewy. Not in the slightest greasy. In this time of the year I prefer just a wash of colour on my cheeks but you can also build it up without looking cakey and get a really stand out cheek colour from it. And the staying power is great too. I can’t even compare it to any powder blush I own. It can pull off 8 hours looking good like it was nothing. Everything considered, I’m really impressed.

I know you can use the Convertible Color on your lips too but I’m very picky with things I apply on my often chapped lips. And I also hate all scents and tackiness. That’s why I think I will stick to using it only on my cheeks. (On the photos above I used Clinique Chubby stick in Super Strawberry.)

I love it so much I will definitely be picking up some more shades from this range. What about you? Have you tried any of the Convertible Colors? What shade would you recommend?
